Duluth Bus Trip
Staff from the Moorhead Library led a 37 passenger bus trip to Duluth to visit the Glensheen Mansion as well as the Duluth Depot, which is home to the Lake Superior Railroad Museum, Duluth Art Institute, Veterans' Memorial Hall, and the St. Louis County Historical Society. The bus arrived at Glensheen around 11am with 3 groups taking hour long tours, which were staggered every ten minutes. The group then moved on to the Duluth Depot from 2:00-3:30, where people visited whatever exhibits or organizations appealed to them. The bus arrived back at the Moorhead Library around 8:30pm.

Share in the diverse human experiences of veterans, their families, and communities featured in Veterans? Memorial Hall at the Duluth Depot.
Provide access to these arts, cultural, and heritage experiences where many from our region would not be able to travel to due to distance and economic challenges.
Survey's were collected from participants, the program was rated very high. Attendees appreciated the opportunity for education about Minnesota. Some were able to make the trip to Duluth that they otherwise wouldn't have been able to make.
