The Theatre 4 All Initiative will eliminate barriers to ensure access to quality live theater for 1,000 disadvantaged youth in St. Cloud's inner-city schools.
MacPhail Center for Music requests $75,000 to develop and expand its Inclusive Partnership Initiative to four community partnerships (from 54 to 58) in the Twin Cities and greater Minnesota reaching 850 additional students and recruiting five new teaching artists rooted in arts-based community-building.
The St. Louis River Area of Concern (SLRAOC) conservation partners are focused on removing Beneficial Use Impairments (BUI) in the estuary and eventually delisting the SLRAOC. Cooperative efforts between multiple resource agencies and regional stakeholders have identified a host of restoration objectives, developed project support activities, and partially secured funding that includes a state commitment through the Minnesota Clean Water Fund.
The Humanities Center used a portion of the Legacy funding to provide administrative support for the Collaborative Funds, K-12 Education Initiative, and Community Partnerships programs. This support included general planning meetings, financial management and reporting, and website maintenance and development. The Humanities Center also committed to deepening its ability to evaluate programming by sending staff to external evaluation workshops and hosting a series of five internal workshops with evaluation expert Dr. Michael Patton.
