To engage all participants in a high-quality arts experience in music, dance, and storytelling. To teach all participants about a little-studied Minnesota cultural heritage. To draw new audiences to Pangea with an interest in Metis/Voyageur culture. To expose future teachers to methods for integrating arts into their classrooms.All participants in the Hawley experience will fill out a short survey asking about the arts and specifically what they learned and enjoyed. People who attend A Voyageur's Tale at Pangea will be asked to complete a survey which includes a question on AVT and what they learned and one on whether they heard about the Pangea performance through the Hawley experience. A modest increase in Pangea attendance may be the result of the Hawley performance and workshops. Over 50% of all respondents will indicate they had a positive arts experience and will share what they learned.
