To increase awareness of the arts and elevate their status within the community. To expand the number of children participating in Prairie Camp. To attract community members to an outdoor art performance at the Morris Wetlands facility. To provide a learning opportunity for the artists teaching Prairie Camp. To provide an enhanced experience for the participants of Prairie Camp. To present the results of this project to the public at large.1. A rough head count of visitors to the final event at the Morris Wetlands Management Center will give a sense of how many community member elected to observe the pageant. 2. A survey form will be handed out at the final event for spectators, instructors, Prairie Campers and parents. 3. The partners in this project (Wetlands Management staff, Friends of the Wetlands, Prairie Renaissance Cultural Alliance board members, community education staff) will be contacted for follow up evaluation comments.
An evaluation form was sent home with the Prairie Campers to be completed with parents. A feedback form was distributed with programs at the final performance on June 23rd. A questionnaire was sent via email to all workshop participants and camp teachers.
