ACHF Arts Access
To foster an interest in the visual revitalization of our main street through public art projects. To engage and encourage the creation of art in the City of Lake Park, by the people of Lake Park, to support the above goal. To support a local artist's and encourage others to create art locally. To create three new visually appealing signs for our community that can be a reminder to all who live here and visit that we, as a city, support the arts.An exit survey will be taken of each participant at The Glass Lady studio to gauge the success of the project. They will be asked to discuss the areas that went well, what could use improvement, and their overall rating of the project. They will also be asked about their willingness to participate in future public/community art projects in Lake Park.
The City of Lake Park is currently going through the process of implementing the design ideas presented in October by the Minnesota Design Team. The signs created by this project help to focus the direction of that aesthetic development, which continues now.
