Due to the significant increase of Veterans participation at the campground, Last year we had over 35,000 visitors, there is a major concern for the safety and security of all of the visitors on the camp. Installing a maintenance free vinyl fence, along the road coming into the camp, along with two barrier arms at the entry point by the camp office would insure controlled access to the camp.
Dawson-Boyd Arts Association will present two Brass Ensembles in its 2013-2014 season along with a Brass Residency with Saint Anthony Brass Quintet for student and community musicians
Building on the exhibit development community engagement process carried out through four successive Legacy grants, the Children’s Museum of Southern Minnesota will use the 2014-15 direct appropriation to complete fabrication and installation of several exhibit components for its permanent facility. Local resources, volunteers, and community involvement will be combined with museum expertise to complete this process.
