Project Overview
Seven woodturners were invited to display and sell their woodwork at the Thorson Memorial Library in Elbow Lake. An artist's reception was held on May 29th, at which one of the woodturners offered two demonstrations of woodturning. The local newspaper ran extensive information about each of the artists.

Surveys were filled out by both library patrons attending the exhibit and attendees at the artist's reception. Many commented that is was a new art form for them that they had not seen previously. The live demonstration was particularly well-received.
