Participants will learn about traditional Scandinavian music, as played and interpreted by descendents of Swedes and Norwegians in Minnesota; different styles of Scandinavian couple dancing; the difference between a button box accordion and a piano accordion;and what makes a tune a 'folk tune,' whether it's new or old.
