1. Introduce library patrons to a new crime series by local Lake Park, MN author, LD Bergsgaard. 2. Discuss with library patrons how characters and events in the book were based in part on real life experiences. 3. Compare and contrast real life law enforcement tactics and techniques with those often used in crime procedurals. 4. Dialog with library patrons to answer their questions on how I create characters and how I formulate a plot and solicit from them what they like to read, what makes a memorable character and what makes a book enjoyable for them.
