Many people in the Lake Agassiz Regional Library System are of Scandinavian descent. Attendees will learn more about the immigrants' music, customs and how the culture continues to today. Attendees will learn about the connections of Norwegian folk music with the other parts of Europe and the world. Attendees will have an opportunity to learn a little foreign language, dance and sing. Attendees have the opportunity to hear some of the stories and songs of the elders at the presentation.
