MN Music-Makers, Behind the Scenes, are Minnesota's music-makers front and center! We all know about Prince. We all know about Bob Dylan. And the Replacements. And Low, and Lizzo and Doomtree and Dessa and the list goes on of artists from and working in the North Star State who've gone on to make a mark on the world's stages. Minnesota has a well-earned place in the Music hall of fame and Radio K's Behind The Scenes aims to keep us there - bringing musicians from across the state to the airwaves - to play tomorrow's national anthem (or hit record) on your radio (or internet) today. With live performances, interviews, and video - viewers get a front-row picture of what it means to be a part of the Minnesota music scene right now. FY24 and FY25 Outcomes: An increase in the number of Minnesotans of all ages, ethnicities, abilities and incomes who participate or are exposed to the arts, culture and history of Minnesota.
An increase in the locally focused content and Minnesota-focused content produced by public radio, and an increase in the number of local artists that have their work showcased through public broadcasting.
