Project Overview

WGZS will partner with Ampers to create more segments of Fond du Lac's Ogichida Voices.' We will produce between twenty and thirty (20 - 30) 90-second segments, featuring the stories, memories, and
experiences of different members of the Fond du Lac Band of Lake Superior Chippewa who served in the military. The series will recognize and honor the knowledge, experience, and leadership of Native veterans,
from their own perspective and in their own voice. Native Americans have had and continue to have the highest number of members in the U.S. military per capita of any cultural group.
