The Vanguard Project: Under-served' How about under-created' New Vanguard programming and a first in Minnesota, The Vanguard Report is BIPOC-centered student programming exploring the various forces that shape our state and our culture from a younger BIPOC generation. The Vanguard Report will explore what it means to be BIPOC in Minnesota today through interviews, music, stories, and sound-rich reporting all from a BIPOC student perspective. Encouraging explorations and challenging stereotypes of all shades, the Vanguard Report celebrates what it means to speak BIPOC-Minnesotan.
An increase in the number of Minnesotans of all ages, ethnicities, abilities and incomes
who participate or are exposed to the arts, culture and history of Minnesota .
Increase in the locally focused content and Minnesota focused content produced by public radio, and an increase in the number of local artists, that have their work showcased through public broadcasting.
