Artist Spotlight
Artist Spotlight is a weekly interview series with artists or organizations receiving funding from the Northwest MN Arts Council -- many of which are Legacy projects. This collaborative series features interviews with photographers, painters, sculptors, woodcarvers, vocalists, musicians, actors, directors, arts advocates, educators, and festival and fair organizers from Kittson, Marshall, Norman, Pennington, Polk, Red Lake, and Roseau Counties. The 10 to 15 minute segments are broadcast on Pioneer 90.1, posted on the Northwest Minnesota Arts Council's Website, and made available to other Ampers stations via PRX.
More Minnesota artists and arts organizations will have their work showcased through public broadcasting
The project will give more Minnesotans the opportunity to participate in and be exposed to art and culture
The project will result in an increase in locally and Minnesota-focused content produced and aired by public radio
