Project Overview

Ojibwe Arts Rising: This project will introduce Ojibwe arts and crafts to Northwest Minnesota. KKWE will partner with the Boys & Girls Club and host some of the classes and at the club. The rest of the classes will be open to the public at various venues around the community. Attendees will learn about an Ojibwe art or craft as well as the cultural values behind the art or craft. KKWE will promote the classes on the radio and through social media. One of the promotions will involve short 10 - 15-minute interviews with the teachers of each of the classes.
