Dr. Kaplan, visited libraries around the Region discussing popular Scandinavian crime novels, TV series, and movies. He explained the typical layout and characterizations used in Scandinavian crime novels along with how they related to the culture of Scandinavia and their political, social, and economic issues. He also provided attendees with a book and author list of Scandinavian novels for them to take with them.
