Family History - Brainerd
A three part series of genealogy classes along with three nonfiction writing workshops was hosted by the Brainerd Public Library. Genealogist, Rick Crume, led the three part series showing participants how to expand their research skills to learn more about their own backgrounds and history. Two of the writing workshops were presented by Angela Foster and the third was presented by Candace Simar.

A paper survey was available for attendees at all events to fill out to determine if the event was enjoyable and educational.
99% of respondents indicated that the genealogy workshops enhanced their knowledge of methods for genealogy research and that the workshops met their expectations. 99% of respondents also indicated that the writing workshops enhanced their knowledge of writing and the writing trade.
