Project Overview

MPR's Director of Impact and Community Engagement will produce a one-day training each year for the 18 LPFM/Community radio stations across the state. Past experience has demonstrated that MPR has the name recognition to inspire attendance and the resources to produce this training. In addition, MPR will pilot a week-long summer media camp for high students working with LPFM stations' websites. These two education events build on outreach and relationships created in with MPR LPFM training in 2017.

Determine the external impact by reviewing digital metrics in social media, mpr.org and LPFM station websites. Understand the impact on the current cohort to inform future trainings. Understand the potential impact year over year by comparing results to the 2017 findings to see if there are trends.
