Project Overview

Produce virtual events in support of MPR programming and content initiatives statewide with the goal of engaging audiences and providing access via free events. The events team has a goal of producing at least one event in Greater Minnesota each year. Other events include the annual Rock the Cradle for kids and their grownups and Classical MPR's successful Bring the Sing.

Proposed Measurable Outcome(s)

Create in-person, live experience opportunities for our communities as a means of extending the MPR Brand and engaging audiences. Create two live experiences each year. Serve approximately 7,500 people each year, hire and engage approximately 20 artists per year. Survey participating artists regarding the impact of their involvement and any reaction/interaction with the audience.
