Guthrie Theater classes 2011
The Guthrie Theatre brought their skilled teaching artists for workshops on a variety of topics, including memoir-writing, acting, and dance. Each branch offered one class.

Attendees of the Guthrie workshops learned many things about writing memoirs, acting games and techniques, and state combat. Attendees commented on the memoir classes that they learned not to worry about how to write, just to write.One attendee wrote, “[I learned] how to structure a memoir, and different approaches define a memoir.”Another wrote that they would definitely bring their friends to a future workshop, because they “loved it!”One commenter who attended a memoir workshop said, “[I learned] how to break down—make an outline—and how to start and achieve this project.”
