The Minnesota Historical Society/Minnesota's Greatest Generation statewide partnership includes a wide variety of programs along the theme of Minnesota’s Greatest Generation, including history speakers, reenactors, musical performances, presentations, tours of the MHS/MGG exhibit in St. Paul, and more.

Measurable Outcomes may be collected by survey, anecdotal responses, pre-test/post-test, observations; Describe proposed end user change in Behavior, Attitude, Skills, Knowledge, Condition and/or Status.Introduction to various art forms; appreciation for history.

Measurable Outcome(s)

Attendees learned about history topics through the MHS statewide partnership programs.One attendee of the Rhonda Laurie 'Happy Days Are Here Again' concert wrote that they learned "So much history! A wonderful program. Thank you."Another wrote that they enjoyed learning the history along with hearing the old songs.Someone even wrote that they drove to Delano from Minneapolis for the program.Those who went on the bus tours to the Minnesota History Center were very appreciative of the opportunity to view the exhibits and not worry about driving. Many seniors enjoyed the exhibit and sharing the Greatest Generation memories with their family and friends. Those who attended the programs in Upsala and St. Michael on 'Demystifying Family Photographs' learned techniques for identifying photos from different eras.
