Ten Pigs Trunk Show
Award-winning author and illustrator Derek Anderson presented this year's featured title "Ten Pigs" during an hour long program. He read his book, presented an interactive "reenactment," a drawing exercise, and numerous other story extensions and interactive segments intended to highlight the educational facets of Ten Pigs.

Since the program is targeted towards children ages 0-6, we expect a lot of children accompanied by parents, teachers, or day care providers. Evaluations will be sent to the participating libraries to measure the outcome and any comments that were made.
There was a good amount of children who attended this program. Derek involved the children during the program and kept them entertained. The audience enjoyed the time they spent with Derek and want more programs like it. They loved how it showed the kids a real author and illustrator!
