Proposed Measurable Outcome(s)

We expect that audiences will be exposed to a new kind of music with which they may be unfamiliar. We hope that they will walk away with a better understanding of Celtic music and culture. We distributed evaluation forms to audience members to measure the following expected outcomes:
1) After watching this program I have increased my understanding and appreciation of Celtic music. (agree, disagree, no opinion)
2) I enjoyed this program because it helped me (learn a new skill, increase knowledge and better understand a topic, spend quality time with family or friends, generate or refine ideas and/or goals)
3) This program increased my interest in Celtic music (agree, disagree, no opinion)
4) Other Comments

Measurable Outcome(s)

98% of attendees said that after watching this program they have increased their understanding and appreciation of Celtic music. 9% of attendees said that they enjoyed this program because it helped them learn a new skill. 85% of attendees said that they enjoyed this program because it helped them increase knowledge or better understand a topic. 53% of attendees said that they enjoyed this program because it helped them spend quality time with family or friends. 15% of attendees said that they enjoyed this program because it helped generate or refine ideas and/or goals. 83% of attendees said that this program increased their interest in Celtic music. Comments from the public included gratitude for exposure to fun world cultures, even in remote and small towns like Warroad. Audience members said that the group was talented and informative, and one expressed interest in learning more about Celtic history, for which she said she will go to the library.
