Gandy Dancer State Trail - St. Croix River Bridge
Rehabilitation of State Trail Bridge over the St. Croix River, This bridge is a jointly owned, with the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources and Burnett County, Wisconsin.
The Gandy Dancer State Trail Bridge over the St. Croix River is a 516 foot, nine span former railroad structure, jointed owned, administered and operated as a trail bridge by the States of Minnesota and Wisconsin. This former railroad structure has been previously converted for recreational trail use. The inspection of the overall structure is currently underway and the recommendations for rehabilitation or replacement is expected in late 2011.
