Michelle's program "All About Dogs" was our Summer Reading Program kick-off. Michelle brought her poodles to each of the libraries where they did tricks and helped teach kids how to act with dogs.

We expect a good turn-out for this program because it involves animals and is the Summer Reading Program kick-off.
Measurable Outcome(s)
We had a large turn-out for each library. And a good number of children signed up for the Summer Reading Program. Children were able to participate in the program and had their pictures taken with the dogs. Some comments made were: "The library really has wonderful programs for all its patrons," "Dogs are always the best programs," "I even got to be in the act," "Wow that was great" and "Do these state representatives know the impact that libraries have on their communities and the people that they reach not only with programs but on a daily basis?"
