Minnesota’s twelve regional library systems, which encompass more than 350 public libraries in all areas of the state, can benefit from a portion of the Legacy Amendment’s Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund. Through State Library Services, a division of the Minnesota Department of Education, each regional library system is eligible to receive a formula-driven allocation from the annual $2.2 million Minnesota Regional Library System Legacy Grant. Plum Creek Library System (PCLS) is a federated regional public library system with central services located in southwestern Minnesota.

Install an underground well and an irrigation system (or other means for watering) in order to water the grass, trees and plants that will be planted at the Veteran's Park. The Veteran's Park is located outside of city limits so there is no source of water other than drilling our own well on the property. Clitherall Township will hire a licensed contractor to drill and install the well as required by Minnesota law.

The proposed project will focus on sustaining our most well-attended set of classes - Ojibwe I and II and beginning to implement a revenue generation plan to support these activities across the long term. When COVID forced the closure of the Minneapolis American Indian Center's doors in March of 2020, we were fortunate that we had already began piloting Indigenous classes using online platforms, so the shift to all-online was fairly immediate and smooth.
