The Minnesota Children's Museum will develop a literacy focused exhibit to catalyze community engagement around early childhood learning and education.
The Minnesota State Band is a 45-piece concert band that performs a wide variety of music throughout the year. This year, the band celebrates 125 years as an arts organization. We are a part of Minnesota's rich history.
When we receive legacy funding, our goals are to increase the number of concert tours, continuing to reach out to smaller communities around Minnesota, sharing our love of music with residents, and planning joint events with school and community music and arts groups throughout our state.
One Heartland's mission is to improve the lives of children, youth, and families facing significant health challenges or social isolation. We envision a world where everyone feels appreciated, celebrated, and free of stigma and discrimination. We want a community where individuals can learn and grow so that they may lead healthier and more productive lives. We meet these goals through our summer camp programs. We provide youth (ages 7-17) camps to three distinct marginalized groups: HIV/AIDS+ youth, LGBTQ+ youth, and LGBTQ+ families.
Due to the reconstruction of Highways 59 and 108, it's imperative to move our Honor Wall to a safer and more visible location. Some of the parts of the existing wall will be used to install into a new wall based on the fact that in the process of moving the wall there are parts of the old wall that would not survive the move and would require building a new base, etc..
Community engagement for Phase II Phalen China Garden. Engagement will be led by the City of Saint Paul Staff and a local artist who is a resident of Minnesota. The project will develop a Design Advisory Committee that could include members of the local Hmong community, Chinese community, Ward 1, Payne Phalen Planning District, Youth Commission, Hmong 18 Council, and local residents.
Per Minnesota Laws, 2011, 1st Special Session, Chapter 6, Article 4, Section 2, Subdivision 6, the Minnesota Department of Administration requested proposals to create, produce, acquire, or distribute radio programs that educate, enhance, or promote local, regional, or statewide items of artistic, cultural, or historic significance.
The City of Wyoming has proudly commenced construction of Railroad Park, a new and exciting addition to our community that will kick off the redevelopment of our downtown development plan. This vibrant community space is being developed in three phases as we work towards celebrating our City's rich heritage, honoring our veterans, and providing an inclusive and welcoming environment for residents and visitors alike. The first phase of Railroad Park, which construction began on in Fall of 2023, is the Veterans Memorial portion of the project.
This funding will improve our collection of artifacts representing Minnesota's cultural heritage and create new forms of statewide cultural heritage educational opportunities for audiences of all ages.

Due to the significant increase of Veterans participation at the campground, Last year we had over 35,000 visitors, there is a major concern for the safety and security of all of the visitors on the camp. Installing a maintenance free vinyl fence, along the road coming into the camp, along with two barrier arms at the entry point by the camp office would insure controlled access to the camp.
State leadership for the 4-H Shooting Sports & Wildlife Program, including staff and 4-H volunteer committee members, will provide a menu of equipment options for local programs to choose from as a means to build their Shooting Sports & Wildlife project. Local programs will submit a grant application justifying how the new equipment will help them build and grow their program, attract and engage new audiences, and provide sustainability in their local chapter.
Within this plan, we will develop a series of cultural events (plays, speakers, presentations) that can be delivered live before an audience for educational purposes and/or videographed for preservation. These productions will amplify the custodians of Somali culture and will allow Somali artists to share their collective work, knowledge, and wisdom with the Somali and non-Somali communities. The majority of the events will be performed publicly and digitally recorded for future use and for preservation.
The pandemic has created challenges for Minnesota families, schools and communities like never before. Throughout this crisis the Science Museum has remained true to its commitment to be a statewide resource for science and education that centers equity. This was demonstrated by our pivot to the development and delivery of online content accessible for users throughout Minnesota. We are excited to welcome back audiences to a safe and engaging museum experience.

The Capri's arts programs provide artists, performers, and audience members a meaningful way to connect with each other and with the arts - designed to support working artists, community-convening, and relationship building on the Northside and throughout the broader Twin Cities metro community. We provide countless opportunities to create and implement ideas, to be together, and to experience, learn about, and produce art.
The History of the Lake Superior Zoo: Educational Exhibit project will be an educational exhibit that will help our visitors learn more about the history of the Lake Superior Zoo, our accreditation by the Association of Zoos & Aquariums and its importance in animal care and welfare, and include related history and stories from local indigenous tribes. The planned exhibit will span across zoo grounds and buildings, providing optimal reach to audiences and increasing the interpretive signage at the Lake Superior Zoo.
The TAP hosts a performance stage for spoken word, karaoke, and live music. Our friends have often never had a chance to be welcomed to a stage, where they are celebrated for their unique talents, and cheered for their courage in availing themselves in a public venue.The TAP also offers opportunities for artists in our community who create works of art in a variety of mediums. Our friends paint, sculpt, sketch, knit, fashion jewelry, and more. They're encouraged to exhibit and sell their artwork at our events and we supply them with everything they need to display their works, at no cost.

Veterans on the Lake Resort, a not-for-profit resort, will provide a barrier-free setting for a memorable outdoor recreation experience for disabled persons, with priority to disabled veterans, veterans, their families, friends and supporters; designed with veterans in mind, recognizing what they have contributed to and sacrificed for our nation; ensuring that they can fully participate in Minnesota's outdoor cultural heritage.

Well drilling to provide larger reservoir of water to meet peak demand
The wall and pillars were built in 1938 as part of a depression era Works Progress Administration project to construct a municipal pool and bathhouse with an adjoining park. The wall and pillars are made of limestone sourced from a local quarry and mark the entrance to the aquatic center and Veterans Memorial Park. The wall and pillars are the only structures from this project that remain intact in their original form.
The project is to research, develop, write and publish the rule and regulations for the sport of Sepak Takraw and Tujlub. Rules and guidelines for type material, size, weights, heights, softness, court sizes, court marking for the age appropriate level of plays. The funds will be used to contract local experts in coaching, officiating and other related athletic and educational areas of up to the publication phase.
