David Treuer presented on the making and telling of his newest book, Rez Life, growing up on the Leech Lake Reservation in Cass Lake/Bena area weaving in stories of his own experiences and those of others from interviews, and telling of the political climate, sovereignty, cultural dynamics, education and more.

Measurable Outcome(s)
In response to an in-house survey, 96% of all participants found that the program met their expectations, and 94% thought it was an enjoyable learning experience. 89% stated the presentation enhanced their knowledge of Minnesota native history and cultural heritage, and 94% thought it was meaningful for all ages.
