Fall 2019 Programming: Literature
As part of a fall series of Legacy programs, speakers featured literature and history. In one program, author Matthew Valan explored family dynamics and mental illness in his memoir Sister Secrets: A Brother?s Reveal, which chronicles an infamous local tragedy that resulted in the loss and destruction of several lives. In another program, Retired SMSU professor Ellen Radel presented ?Everyone Has a Golden Story: A Lifetime of Memories with Little Golden Books? and her passion for the history of the Little Golden Books series and the impact these iconic books have made on generations of American children since 1942.
