Project Overview
Café Accordion Orchestra, a 5-piece band from Minneapolis, presented programs that included a variety of accordion music from a selection of music styles and cultural backgrounds. They shared the context of each piece, talked about their instruments (accordion, mandolin, violin, guitar, standing bass, percussion), and played music.

Measurable Outcome(s)
In response to an in-house survey, 82% strongly agreed that the program met their expectations, and 72% indicated it was meaningful for all ages. 79% strongly agreed the performance was an enjoyable learning experience, and 78% strongly agreed it enhanced their appreciation of the value of music for all ages. 26% indicated they had never been to a similar event in the past.
