The Lake of the Woods County Historical Society purchased a Canon MS 300 Microfilm Scanner/Reader to broaden public access to primary historic records for research use.
To present Art Leap 2010 a two-day event featuring an afternoon of live performances and a driving tour to local artists’ studios and workshops as well as other cultural destinations.

The Lake Sylvia Flute Institute will provide flute and guitar instruction for musicians (Suzuki trained and traditional) ages 5-19 years and training for adult musicians interested in becoming teachers of, or furthering their studies in, the Suzuki Method
Archival storage boxes were purchased to re-house and properly store the city's historic collections located in the Kremer House Museum and Library. Steel storage shelves were purchased to house the boxes of photographs, newspapers and non-clothing items that are stored in the attic. Many volunteers assisted with the cleaning, organizing, boxing and labeling of items. The collections are now more accessible, including long forgotten and newly rediscovered items now available for use and/or reference as a result of this re-organization.
A second opinion for a treatment proposal for the inspection certificate recovered from the shipwreck of the steamer Thomas Wilson was obtained by the Lake Superior Maritime Museum Association. The clearly written report, including detailed recommendations, was prepared by a qualified paper conservator. The LSMMA is now able to prioritize where this project fits into their Long Range Plan.
To provide children's programming at the Red Lake County Fair. Programming will include games and activities highlighting local history, cultural heritage of the region, and learning and singing songs.
National Register of Historic Places nomination preparation and a management plan for the 47-acre Two Points property on Ottertail Peninsula, Leech Lake. Included is a spatial analysis of physical artifacts, researching documentation of the site, creating and annotating maps, taking photos and completing the nomination form with attachments and bibliography.
