To offer Lake of the Woods county fair visitors opportunities to participate in arts and cultural heritage events, and purchase a PA system to help make programming accessible to individuals with limited hearing.

The Children's Museum of Rochester, Inc. will be implementing a program called Passport To Play aiming to increase the number of children and families of all ages, ethnicities, abilities and incomes to participate in hands-on arts and cultural programming and educational exhibits at the museum. Passport To Play would reach over 1,500 children and families a year from underserved communities in Southeastern Minnesota. The Children's Museum of Rochester, Inc.
Funds will obtain the services of a mural artist to research, design, and produce a mural in the Baudette Depot which will reflect the cultural heritage of the region in the early 1900’s.
Funds will assist Lake of the Woods School to hire Don Houseman to teach printmaking to 8th through 12th grade art students for 10 days, culminating with a public show of the students’ work.
Funds will assist the LakeWood Care Center in hiring an artist-in-residence, Mary Therese Peterson, to provide care center residents with an opportunity to learn and create art culminating in an art show
Funds will assist Pequana Playhouse to purchase a professional quality programmable full-size electronic keyboard to be used in rehearsals and performances.
