To offer new arts and history programming at the Itasca County Fair. Visitors will have the opportunity to listen to a harpist, dulcimer player, and watch a presentation on the dogsled, clothing, and making of the film Iron Will.
The Children's Museum of Rochester, Inc. will be implementing a program called Passport To Play aiming to increase the number of children and families of all ages, ethnicities, abilities and incomes to participate in hands-on arts and cultural programming and educational exhibits at the museum. Passport To Play would reach over 1,500 children and families a year from underserved communities in Southeastern Minnesota. The Children's Museum of Rochester, Inc.
Due to Essar Steel (a company from India that purchased Minnesota Steel) opening in 2011, the Reif Center will support Ragamala Dance in touring residencies for area schools/organizations. The focus is introducing Indian dance, art, and culture into our communities.
