Prairie Fire Children’s Theatre
Prairie Fire tours throughout the year bringing a professional theatrical experience to communities in just one week, specializing in touring original adaptations of classic children’s tales. Children and teens have the opportunity to learn basic acting skills, as well as how a performance comes together both on stage and back behind the scenes.

1. Attitudes – Fun, engaging and interactive event for youth to be able to produce a show. Adults enjoyed the programs and the energy of the performers. Foster an appreciation of the program by all age groups. 2. Skills – Attendees learned about acting as an art form. Becoming the character on stage engaged their creative thinking skills. Working together to produce an enjoyable community performance taught the value of teamwork. Comments from participants in the program included: "It’s great to see the kids have such a good time learning a creative skill." "A great opportunity for kids' summer programming that is not sports related."
