Kitchigami Regional Library and member branches planned and implemented a series of presentations featuring historical reenactments of writers and other Minnesota characters and were held in up to 12 locations, including schools.

Expenditures in Year 1 include some planning expenditures for added events to take place in the autumn/early winter of 2010.

90% of respondents indicated that this was an enjoyable way to learn about Minnesota history.  72% indicated that they learned something new. 80% of juvenile respondents were able to identify a specific fact learned.
