Project Overview

The 2017 Douglas County Community Read book selection was "Boys in the Boat" by Daniel James Brown. An event, produced by local storyteller Paulette Friday, brought together musicians and storytellers to weave songs and story into a performance about the fabric of life in the 1930's, when the book takes place.
