Project Overview
Participants took a coach bus to the 1860s working farm of Oliver H. Kelley, founder of the first successful national farming organization, the Order of Patrons of Husbandry, better known as the Grange. "Farm Animal Weekend" including observing the hand-sheering of sheep, seeing newborn lambs and piglets and assisting cooks in the kitchen.
