Project Overview
This project continues an already established Arts and Cultural Heritage-funded program begun in spring of 2010. The program's host and producer, Nino Perez, is a 25-year veteran of radio broadcasting in the region, and is uniquely connected to the Latino audience throughout the region.
About the Issue
Our goal is to reach Spanish-speaking families throughout our broadcast area with information about Latino dances and other cultural events, as well as on-air acknowledgement of young Latino and Latina academic and athletic achievements. This programming is an enhancement of our already very strong commitment tot he underserved Latino population in our region.
