Project Overview
What does your community look like? Celebrate what makes your corner of Minnesota special. The program allows the libraries and communities to create an impromptu photography show and visual record of your community by inviting families and patrons to the library to have their portrait taken by a professional photographer. Guests can bring one portrait home to keep and the library keeps one for the community exhibit. Libraries were also invited to host a family tree craft activity run by and MHS staff member. A preservation expert was on hand to answer questions patrons had about preserving their family treasures.
