To bring new arts and cultural heritage programming to the Renville County Fair. Programming included a performance by the Red Tree Singers, a Native American group, and Kid Power, an interactive kids’ program. Funds were also used to commission a local artist to paint a mural depicting local agriculture and history.

Construct wastewater treatment improvements to meet phosphorus discharge requirements

The primary outcome of this project will be to work with five local landowners to implement BMPs that focus on protection of the Renville County portion of the Minnesota River- Mankato Watershed from elevated nutrient levels, in particular phosphorus. This project will utilize outreach and education to incorporate public involvement and input into targeted BMP implementation and the decision making process of watershed issues.

To hire a qualified conservator to restore a significant object in the museum's collections.

Hardwood Creek Regional Trail. Repair trail surface and landscape, install benches, kiosks, signs.

To hire qualified professionals to rebuild the chancel wall in the Episcopal Church of the Good Samaritan, listed in the National Register of Historic Places.

St. Croix Bluffs Regional Park. Replace campground shower building, dump station, well, septic, provide electric to campsites, water distribution to campground, trails, parking, and related infrastructure, landscaping.

Bunker Hills Regional Park, replace wave pool filtration system. Rice Creek Chain of Lakes Regional Park, design and reconstruct roads, campsites, utilities, landscaping.

Carver Park Reserve & Elm Creek Park Reserve. Replace floating boardwalks.

Baker Park Reserve. Replace retaining wall.

Lebanon Hills Regional Park and Spring Lake Park Reserve, replace three septic systems.

Minneapolis Chain of Lakes Regional Park, replace play areas, include new equipment, surfacing, drainage, benches, shade areas and other improvements.

The concrete floor in the exhibit and storage area of a former garage structure, located on the Clearwater Historical Society museum grounds, was removed and replaced. The severely deteriorated floor with an insafe step down had been barred to public access. With the floor replaced storage capacity has been increased, artifacts are more accessible, space is more usable and the building is now in compliance with ADA requirements.

MPCA distributes grants to county SSTS programs. County program locates low-income landowners, within the county jurisdiction, and distribute fix-up grants to landowners to address failing septic systems (ITPHS or FTPGW).

To digitize issues of the student newspaper, "The Reporter," allowing for greater public access to this historic resource.
