To reconstruct interment records of the Lone Oak Lutheran Cemetery, a subscription service-cemetery software developer was contracted to manage cemetery records. The cloud-based solution is economical, saving on hardware costs and data storage. The yearly subscription saves on periodic high-cost upgrades. A new updated cemetery map was also generated by the service. After cross-checking the data it was entered as planned. The cemetery information has been shared with the Dakota County Historical Society, making it more accessible to the public.

The Southside Park and Yackly Park Historical Markers were created and installed to identify and document two historical home sites located within City Parks in the City of New Prague.

Yackly Park site, there had been past efforts made to document the history of the site and the existence of a log cabin with family ties back to New Prague's Founder Anton Philipp. In 2005, irrepairable damage to the remnants of the Yackly Cabin (rot and severe structural problems) led to its documentation by the Scott County Historical Society and demolition.

Construction was completed in 2018 on the three components that made up the major infrastructure project at Pelican Lake - construction of a gravity outlet, water control structure, and pump lift station.  This work will allow for a drawdown and enhancement of Pelican Lake to return it to what was once one of the region's premier waterfowl and wetland wildlife habitats.  Ducks Unlimited provided the engineering and construction oversight of this significant project.

This project will establish a web-based permitting system to capture essential water appropriation information. The system will include an online permit application process for water use and other permits. The online system will streamline the permitting process for applicants and significantly reduce staff time correcting and managing permit applications and water use reports that are incomplete or have incorrectly calculated permit fees. The use of technology in the application and reporting process will also eliminate staff time needed to enter data and scan and route documents.
