To hire a qualified architect to conduct a condition assessment of the 1902 West Concord High School, listed in the National Register of Historic Places.
Fourteen oral history interviews were conducted with people knowledgeable about the establishment of the Western Lake Superior Sanitary District (WLSSD), early conditions and relevant local environmental issues of the early 1970’s.
To document in 5 to 7 interviews the many roles advocates play in helping victims to become successful survivors and helping to move society toward the elimination of abuse altogether.
What's Up, Doc? The Animation Art of Chuck Jones is a new traveling exhibit from the Smithsonian Institution that reveals the creative genius behind some of the most enduringly popular cartoons and animated films of all time. Chuck Jones brought to animation an unparalleled talent for comic invention and a flair for creating animated characters with distinctive and often wildly eccentric personalities.
Over the past five years, awareness of our organization has spread across the state. As a result, our attendance numbers have grown by 66%. We regularly hit max capacity, and the demand for outreach programs has gone up. Ex-S.T.R.E.A.M. expansion addresses three specific elements: 1) New space: Renting an additional 2,800 sq. ft of exhibit space to address spatial constraints.

The Minnesota Indian Affairs Council in collaboration with the Minnesota Humanities Center will extend and deepen the ongoing partnership around the Why Treaties Matter: Self-Government in the Dakota and Ojibwe Nations exhibition, supporting host sites through December 2012.

1. Contract Ojibwe Language Consultant(s) to work within our White Earth Child Care and White Earth Head Start programs to provide support and guidance in Ojibwe Language Development for our youngest learners.
A collaboration between the Bois Forte Band of Chippewa and the White Earth Nation. The long term goal of this grant is to build whole families of first generation speakers. The short-term goals are to enable the partners to continue forward with their language revitalization efforts by providing digital media support, purchase digital high definition audio and video equipment. Additionally, they will host an elders and youth gathering.

Recording of 1st speakers. Webmaster hired to maintain language website. Conduct two half day gatherings for 1st Generation speakers.
1.) Develop and create an Ojibwe Language Resource Kit for our White Earth Ojibwemowin Teachers who have attained Eminence. 2.) Provide technology for Ojibwemowin Teachers to utilize language apps and programs in the classroom during community gatherings. 3.) White Earth will purchase a block of Rosetta Stone Level 1 Ojibwemowin subscriptions for Enrollees and Non-Enrollees. 4.) White Earth will establish virtual weekly community Language Tables. 5.) White Earth will establish virtual weekly Teacher language tables, closed to the public.

To produce a one-hour documentary on the history of the laborers who constructed the Minnesota State Capitol, listed in the National Register of Historic Places, based on thorough and completed research.
