A digital microfilm/fiche scanner system was purchased and installed at the Hibbing Community College library. Archived resources, including newspaper materials, are now more accessible to students, faculty and staff as well as being available for inter-library loan requests. HCC's resources compliment those resources held at regional libraries and museums thereby serving the extended public as well.
The Threads Youth Dance Project is a pre-professional dance training program for youth ages 12-16. It seeks to innovate dance education by welcoming aspiring BIPOC dancers who struggle to find affirming and culturally sustaining spaces to study dance.
To provide a visual display depicting the history of the Nicollet County Fair's volunteers, fairgrounds, projects, and community. The Nicollet County Fair will erect a booth next to the Historical Society with information about the 140 years of the fair. Exhibit materials will include a slideshow of photographs and written documents.
A countywide historic preservation ordinance was drafted and adopted to preserve and promote the natural beauty and distinctive historic character of Nicollet County. All records associated with the ordinance will be maintained and administered by the Nicollet County Environmental Services Department.
The Niibi Center and White Earth Land Recovery Project (WELRP) will collaborate to establish a Medicine and Three Sisters Garden teaching and learning space on land owned and managed by WELRP located on White Earth Reservation. They will engage community members, especially young people and families, in the planting and cultivation of the gardens and offer and host year long teaching, learning and cultural immersion activities aligned with our existing mission and goals.

Money was appropriated to the two Immersion Schools to develop and expand K-12 curriculum; provide fluent speakers in the classroom; develop appropriate testing and evaluation procedures; and develop community-based training and engagement.
To develop and expand K-12 Immersion site curriculum by hiring a culture-based education alignment specialist to work with the Niigaane curriculum development teams. These teams will work on relevant content based instruction for students in grades K-6, as the school does not serve grades 7-12. The project will also provide fluent speakers in the classroom.

(Neo)Muralismos de Mexico will 1) develop internal capacity as they develop a "Mexican & Latino Museum of Minnesota". Key objectives include: 1) hire a consultant to support strategic planning; 2) hire an HR consultant; 3) hire a legal consultant; 4) website development.
To improve fairgoers ability to view artwork created by local residents. Updated lighting in the Fine Arts Building will help showcase the arts and cultural heritage displays exhibited at the Nobles County Fair.
Taylor Township, Traverse County, retained the services of a historical consultant to complete a National Register Nomination for School District No. 44 School. It was presented to the Review Board in May, 2011 and is now listed in the National Register.
An historic marker was commissioned and installed at the site and an informational brochure was designed and printed for distribution to the public.
Preserve Appleton's Heritage Inc. retained the services of historical consultants to complete a National Register Nomination for Gethsemane Episcopal Church. The nomination was complicated by a past remodel. The church is now listed in the National Register.
