Cypher Side will organize a range of urban dance programming/activities, including:
- A Hmong Arts Day that provides a platform for Hmong artists of various artistic disciplines to display their talents.
- A dance showcases and one community performance by individuals who are learning to dance (e.g. at a fair);
- A public, cypher-style dance battle for dancers or all ages and abilities; and
- Three master class workshops for dance instructors or skilled dancers who are looking to hone their craft.
Objective 1: Increase Dakota language immersion capacity of at least 30 early childhood educators and staff. Objective 2: Introduce and expand Dakota language learning among up to 26 students in grades 9-12 at Cedar Mountain Secondary School. Objective 3: Promote 15 K-8 youth, family, and community engagement in the language through classes, apprenticeships, and community events at the new Lower Sioux Intergenerational Incubator.

The Givens Foundation will host a African American Literary Conference, slated for April 2025, to explore emerging themes, trends, and issues in Black American literature. Our collaboration with the Archie Givens Sr. Collection of African American Literature will elevate the discourse, fostering critical engagement. 1) Public Forum: Engaging the general public, as well as emerging and established writers, scholars, critics, agents, publishers, booksellers, educators, and students.
