1. By providing interesting and relevant art activities on a regular basis, visitors and local community members can engage with artists and new perspectives, leading to an expanded understanding of creativity, difference, and possibility. The majority of our customer base is from rural Central Minnesota. Art in Motion is one of the only, possibly the only, Art focused space that holds regular open hours to the public in a 20 mile radius. Other orgs in the area often have financial barriers or limits on age and ability to attend art programs. 2. By creating a making environment that encourages fun, exploration, play, and creativity, participants will try the project and report having fun or trying something they have not tried before with the artist. 3. Artists will feel valued by how we engage them in the ideation of programming, fair compensation, and collaborative processes. This will be reported in a follow-up survey. Several artists who hosted Art on the Roll in 2021 desired to host an Art on the Roll again in 2022. ; By providing interesting and relevant art activities on a regular basis, visitors and local community members can engage with artists and new perspectives, leading to an expanded understanding of creativity, difference, and possibility. To measure these outcomes, we have a playful interactive rock survey that will gather feedback and data and track newcomers and regular visitors to the program. The artist will also complete a digital closing survey after their project is complete. The artist survey will gather data on the artist's experience as well as offer them an opportunity to share any observations on the participant's experience by noting memorable comments and questions. The artist or the Art Coordinator will tally and track participation with their project, and note return participation as well as any outlier data such as an out-of-state residence or a large group affiliated with another organization such as a school, daycare, biking club, etc. This data will be recorded after each workshop. Other comments and notes will also be compiled including correlating events at Art in Motion, the weather (on a bike trail the weather can greatly affect traffic). The combination of qualitative and quantitative data will help provide a holistic review of the outcomes. The bucket system has 4 pockets with written questions. A digital survey will be made available on an iPad or with a QR code to scan and take the survey. The 4 buckets can be interacted with colored beans in three colors indicating ?yes,? ?kinda/maybe,? and ?no. The questions will be: was this fun, did you learn or try something new today, and have you been to art on a roll before. The last question will be how old are you and where do you live. To answer this question, participants can take a piece of candy and write age and where they live on the wrapper and place it in the bucket (recycled paper slips will also be provided for this question) for those wishing to save their candy or choose not to eat candy. These survey questions will be written in English, Spanish and Somali. The artist instructor will be instructed to encourage survey participation after completing the projects. If/When the Art in Motion representative present for the workshop will assist in encouraging survey participation. The digital QR Code survey will provide more questions for demographic information. The questions are designed to be simple and playful but also allow insight into deeper outcomes like expanded perspectives and creativity. So far in 2022, we have seen an 87% response rate in our bean survey. So far in 2022 we have seen a %40 response rate on the instructor review with a unanimous reporting that they felt valued in their experience as an instructor with the monetary compensation, facility, and as an artist in general. ; We will use a simple 5 question bean bucket survey for participants and a paper or digital survey for instructors
