This project will improve infrastructure associated with non-motorized boating on Minneapolis lakes. Canoe/kayak racks will be installed at multiple locations, and sailboat tether buoys will be installed on Minneapolis lakes. The intended outcome is to provide additional opportunities for the public to access the lakes in personal non-motorized watercraft. Current numbers of racks and buoys are insufficient and waiting lists are long.

This project will include design, engineering and start construction of the lazy river pedestrian bridge located within Bunker Beach Water Park in Bunker Hills Regional Park.
