Project Overview

The Rondo Commemorative Plaza (RCP) will be a public space to honor the past and celebrate the future of Saint Paul’s first African-American neighborhood. Located at corner of Fisk Street and Old Rondo Avenue in what is now the Summit-University, the plaza will repurpose a vacant lot and construct a place where visitors will learn how much the City of Saint Paul and the State of Minnesota have been changed, improved and challenged and make better by the African-American experience of Rondo.
