Project Overview
Brainerd held a series of events called "Open Book Learning". On 21 March it held a "Write basics" conference for local writers; a genealogy conference on 16 May and a very successful Brainerd Lakes area historical photo project. The latter involved 12 scanning sessions and 430 photographs were scanned. Reported in part on FY 2014 final report.

100% of the attendees of the Memoir workshops agreed or strongly agreed that the workshop enhanced their knowledge of journaling and writing memoirs. 99% of the genealogy conference attendees agreed or strongly agreed that the conference enhanced their knowledge of searching military records and genealogy websites. 100% of "write basics" attendees believed that their knowledge of writing as a career and editing were improved.
