The project overview contained on this webpage is intended to provide summary information on the projects that have been funded by Legacy and Environment and Natural Resources Trust funds since 2010.  Funded projects range in scope from thousands of small grants to artists from the Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund to major river restoration programs in the Clean Water Fund. The information displayed is solely based on project information that has been reported by fund recipients in accordance with Minnesota Statutes 3.303, Subd. 10.  The agencies listed in the overview have received a legislative appropriation from either a Legacy fund or the Environment and Natural Resources Trust Fund.  As directed by the Legislature, the agencies either used the funds for their own programs or distributed the funds to various non-state entities through grant programs and contract agreements.  This website was not designed to be an audit of Legacy and Environment and Natural Resources Trust funds.  As such, the funding amounts displayed are not intended to provide a strict accounting of the funds that have been distributed.
