Allison (Ally) is a water resources engineer and watershed planner at Emmons & Olivier Resources, Inc., an environmental consulting firm based in St. Paul,  MN. She has worked on projects across the state, from the Rainy River Basin to Brown's Creek Watershed, particularly in planning and policy efforts that incorporate significant public participation and environmental justice focuses. Additionally, she is heavily involved in pushing forward her firm's internal Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion initiatives and strategy. Allison also serves as a volunteer media and communications strategist for the Asian American Action Fund, a political organization aimed at increasing Asian American and Pacific Islander representation in federal and state elected office. She recently received a community science fellowship from the American Geophysical Union's Thriving Earth Exchange program and currently supports the development of a green stormwater infrastructure community science project in LaPlace, Louisiana. In her free time she actively participates in the Twin Cities BIPOC Outdoors group and enjoys exploring and hiking in new parts of the state.
